Big news, everybody! Chapter 1 of the AI & Design Systems Course is officially DONE and live!

As many of you know, we've been heads-down on this for months, so getting this across the finish line feels REALLY good. Chapter 1 is the thesis of this entire course, teaching core & foundational concepts that everything else in the course builds upon. Here's what we cover in Chapter 1:
-
The broad arc of technology
-
Design systems: their history, definition, value, and challenges
-
AI: its history, definition, value, and challenges
-
The value of AI & Design Systems together
-
An orientation around tooling and terminology for both design systems & AI
TJ and I are in the process of recording Chapter 2, which is a practical guide to setting up tools & environments, wrestling API keys, understanding git, and other important setup in order to get you operational. Meanwhile, Ian is cranking away at Chapter 3 lessons that show you how to use AI to sturdy up your design system infrastructure. It's all happening!
Expect a bunch of releases here now that we're rocking in rolling. In the meantime, give Chapter 1 a watch; we'd love to get your feedback!
DESIGN.md, Claude Design, and more at last week’s jam session
oh! And one more thing: we just posted last week's jam session video, where we all discussed the DESIGN.md trend, Claude Design, and more. You can watch last week’s jam session right here.
And if you haven’t already, join our vibrant Slack community of AI & Design Systems practitioners as we navigate these waters together.
Thanks so much! Brad, Ian, and TJ
